Robin Rhode in Museum Voorlinden

Met dit overzicht viert Museum Voorlinden te Wassenaar de artistieke reis van Robin Rhode van 2000 tot nu toe. Of het nu een foto, film, sculptuur of performance is, al zijn werken beginnen met een tekening. Robin gebruikt de muur als zijn canvas, waarop hij met zijn tijdelijke interventies een imaginaire wereld verbeeldt.

In this retrospective, Museum Voorlinden [Wassenaar] celebrates the artistic journey of Robin Rhode from 2000 to the present day.

Kunst in de Heilige Driehoek

De Tweede Biënnale "Kunst in de Heilige Driehoek" met het thema HOOP vindt plaats in het gebied van de Onze Lieve Vrouwe Abdij, het Sint Catharinadal en de Sint Paulusabdij te Oosterhout.

The Second Biennale "Art in the Holy Triangle" with the theme HOPE takes place in the area of the Onze Lieve Vrouwe Abbey, the Sint Catharinadal and the Sint Paulusabdij in Oosterhout.

Berlinde de Bruyckere

De tentoonstelling Berlinde De Bruyckere: Engelenkeel in Bonnefanten Museum Maastricht toont recent werk van deze kunstenaar. Haar indringende sculpturen kennen een lange, ingewikkelde maakgeschiedenis. Veel van haar werk is opgebouwd uit was, hars, touw en huiden of doeken, die ze soms jaren blootstelt aan de elementen alvorens ze te verwerken. De sculpturen stralen de tastbaarheid van het bestaan uit.

De Bruyckere’s compelling sculptures have a long and complex creative history. Much of her work is constructed of wax, resin, rope, skins and canvas, which she sometimes exposes to the elements for years before incorporating them into her art. The sculptures exude the tangibility of existence.
